COALBROOKDALE MEMORIES PROJECT

 

We are continuing with our project to record the memories of some of our members, past and present. and we have a number of booklets which record these.

 

1); "Recitations, Observations and Other Variations" by Betty May Higginson. This is a collection of poems written by Betty throughout her long life.  PUBLISHED To order a copy, please click here to order online from LULU.

 

2): "Anglo-German Exchange Visits" by Joan Bowdler & Ruth Plink. In all a total of four exchange visits were arranged and this booklet describes them. PUBLISHED. To order a copy, please click here to order online from LULU.

 

3): "The Evolution of Coalbrookdale Village" by Jean Roberts and others. This includes memories of many of our past members and describes the development of "the dale" throughout the first half of the tweentieth century.  Please click here to order online from LULU.

 

Other books are planned and will be advertised as they become available. The books are A5 softbacks and cost £5 plus postage. They may be bought at our meetings, ordered online from Amazon or LULU, and there are a few copies on sale at the Regional Office in Shrewsbury.
